Two half and two full days of intensive days for PhD candidates and postdocs, focused on making their research clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate, and learning from industry and academia innovation and entrepreneurship.

The two first days, participants work with their own projects to:

  • Design and deliver short, effective scientific talks using the assertion–evidence approach;
  • Improve visual communication (slides and simple graphical abstracts);
  • Translate complex findings for non-specialists, media, and policymakers;
  • Prepare strong elevator pitches and introductions for networking at NuGO Week.

The third day focuses on lessons learned from academia and industry to improve skills in business innovation and entrepreneurship.

  • Academic researchers share their experience in collaboration with industry;
  • Improve skills in intellectual property rights and patents;
  • Business innovation including experience with business development, products, sales and networks by associated partners in NUTRIOME (ZOE, Norilia, Genzai).

The fourth day, focus is on precision nutrition guidelines versus the general dietary guidelines, and future direction and career perspectives in the field:

  • How to communicate nutrition guidelines with consumers and policy makers;
  • Panel debate with academic and industry participants.

The course is highly practical, with short inputs, extensive small-group work, and structured feedback instead of a formal exam. It is deliberately scheduled just before NuGOweek 2026, so participants can immediately apply what they learn in their conference presentations and stakeholder interactions.
